Weekend, Tea, Travel Bug and Spain.

Happy Monday morning!! 🙂

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
Unfortunately all of my weekend plans got postponed because of our first winter storm, but I still had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. I will now venture to my home town on Wednesday to visit my friend who I was supposed to see on Friday. We haven’t hung out in about 4 years so I am really excited for that. I also should be getting my young cousins over this upcoming weekend for fun Christmas crafts and activities 🙂

I am currently sitting here typing this with a cup of Keurig Timothy’s Chai Tea. But I hate tea, so I’m nervous to try it. I’m trying to grow a love for at least one kind of tea, because most people love tea or can at least manage it in a social setting. Me on the other hand, I can’t stomach the stuff. Ick. But I was that way with beer when I first started on that. It’s still not my favorite beverage in the world, but in social situations I can drink it with ease finally. I actually caught my bearings on beer when I was in Hamburg, Germany, which leads into my next topic…………………………………………

TRAVEL!

One of my best friends has recently gotten a job at a travel company and has already gone on a conference to the Cancun, which is my DREAM! And now she is on a cruise (Family, not job related). All in the past week! I haven’t had the chance to talk to her yet and see how it’s going, but I sure am looking forward to it. I never wanted to go on a cruise before until last year when I became randomly obsessed with the idea of it. I let it go for a bit, but I’m starting to feel the urge again. I think of where I want to travel now and a million ideas pop into my head. I would like to go away for my birthday in June, so I’m trying to get an idea of where I would like to go.
This got me thinking to myself, that I should start writing about my past travel experiences since I don’t have very many going on right now. I do want to be a travel photographer after all. And I’m getting into this blogging thing, so being a travel blogger could be fun as well! The travel blog idea was actually brought on by suggestion from my History teacher.

So, I have decided to write a couple blog posts about my past experiences, as well as my aspirations for the next year. And starting in the past, gets us starting with Spain. So my next post, you can look forward to reading about my two week trip to Malaga.
Just be warned, it has been nearly 10 years since I went, so you will receive some old scanned photos taken by 14 year old me, as well as some foggy memories. Don’t worry, the experiences after that are clearer 😉

Anyways, I should get some photos ready and start my first blog!
