St Jacobs Market: VSCO Edition

My mom has taken holiday from work recently, so we decided to do a day trip to St. Jacob’s Market! Basically it is a market near Waterloo Ontario which is open year round. Another notable thing about the area is there is a large Mennonite population, so you see them working and shopping at this market. The Mennonites who work at the market sell things like pure maple syrup, homemade quilts, clothing, jewelry, fresh fruits and veggies etc. It’s something just out of the city that makes you feel like you’re in a completely different place. If you’re interested in visiting, it is open Thursdays and Saturdays year round from 7am-3:30pm. During the summer it is also open on Tuesdays from 8am-3pm. To learn more you can check out their website here.

I didn’t bring my professional camera on this trip, so I thought it could be fun to do a photo essay using VSCOcam to add some life to my cellphone photos. Enjoy!!

Your cell camera still did a good job! I have never visited any of these places but they are all the rage when I lived in West Virginia. 😉

Thanks Melody! 🙂 If you ever get the opportunity I would definitely recommend a tour like this. We learned quite a bit and got to see cute animals, which never hurts!

What a neat place! The produce looks unbelievable and I love the vintage antiques, too! How pretty! That maple cone must’ve been quite a treat!
