New Year 2016, Amber Primdahl

Out With the Old, In With the New

Around this time last year I posted my resolutions for 2015. I know a lot of people have different opinions on resolutions, but I find it helpful for motivation, plus it’s a lot of fun to see what you can accomplish by the end of the year! I’ll post an update on last years resolutions at the end of this post, so we can see how well (or awful) I faired. For now, here are 2016’s resolutions!
Oliver's New Year, Amber Primdahl

1. One new country (at least)
2. One new Canadian province (at least)
3. One new American state (at least)
4. Get a second dog
5. Get a fish! (Yes, really!)
6. Get my photography published somewhere
7. Get my G class license
8. Work with (at least) one company through one of my blogs
9. Upgrade some of my equipment
10. At least one vlog/month
11. Blog at least one day per week on each blog
12. Reach over 10k followers on my travelpicturesblog Instagram
13. Keep my savings account growing
14. Some physical activity at least 2x per week
15. Cut down on Starbucks/Second Cup/Tim Hortons drinks
16. Move out of my current house

Now for last year’s resolutions…ย I guess I didn’t do too badly!

1. Graduate with honours *I missed honours by ONE PERCENT!… Still proud though!*
2. Begin making money in my fieldย  *Editing for a fellow photographer*
3. Visit AT LEAST one new country *England, May 2015!*
4. Keep up working out between school and work *This was off to a really good start… until internships kicked in…*
5. Blog 2x/week minimum *I was only good at this for one month. Have to work on that more*
6. Attend travel shows *I attended the first one I was interested in, but was sick for the second one*
7. Keep my room clean *LOL……*
8. Begin working with companies *I had a few leads, but nothing has panned out just yet*
9. Keep up with happy notes (write a note when something good happens and read them on New Years) *Again, off to a good start but then just kind of stopped*
10. Fall in love *Long, complicated story, but it happened. Maybe I should have had more specific aims haha*
11. Have money in my savings account *This has been an off and on situation*
12. Start RSP *Not quite….*
13. Be more social *I made a more conscious effort and got to see my friends more frequently. Still a homebody though!*
14. Go to more live sporting games *Not this year ๐Ÿ™ *
15. Go to at least one concert *Nope..*
