If you’ve ever peeked at the room service menu when staying in a hotel, you might have noticed that some of the prices are rather steep (this also goes for the mini bar, but that’s another story…)
On a recent trip to Vegas, my friend Celine and I decided that for one meal we would indulge in a room service treat! When looking over the room service menu, I noticed that breakfast and lunch meals seemed a great deal cheaper than dinner and drink choices, so we decided to have a lunch. Celine ordered a large, health packed omelette, while I had my sights set on a turkey avocado sandwich.
The verdict? It was the best meal I had on the entire trip! It was warm, fresh, and very filling. Having the experience of choosing what we wanted to eat, and having it delivered to us and being able to eat it leisurely in our room was a wonderful experience. If it had been a bit warmer, we would have loved to enjoy it on the balcony, but we settled for eating on the beds (they roll it into your room on a table, it’s the perfect height and fits between the two beds). So I would certainly recommend trying the experience at least once in your journeys, especially if there is a day you’re feeling particularly tired from all of your exploring.
