London Video and Vlog Cameras

It’s been a long time since I’ve made a video! My forte is much more about photographs, but on my recent trips I’ve made an effort to remember to take video. Unfortunately that means sometimes opportunity strikes when only my cellphone is available. Not always the best quality.

On the note of quality, I was hoping some of you could give me some recommendations for a good vlogging camera! I want one with great quality, but easy to carry around for times I don’t have my dslr with me! Thanks in advance!

I originally was putting more from my Warner Bros Studio Tour in this video, but it turns out I have a fair bit of media from there and it would be too much for this video. So keep tuned for a future video dedicated to it 🙂 For now, check out my London highlights below!

    Ahhhh!!! London <3
Lovely video Amber! I now wish I'd taken more video while I was traveling in Europe!
I've never been very keen on editing video though. There always seems to be some trouble when trying to export it out of the program. I love that you captured that epic moment of the Hogwarts Castle model. I noticed though that sometimes it seemed like parts of the screen were…warping? Like there was some sort of distortion going on. Is that because of the lens?

Thanks so much Kim!! Yeah, I’m not natural with video but learned a great deal in school so trying to start incorporating it a bit more! I typically forget to take video until after the fact though haha.
I haven’t watched the video since I posted it, but if the warping was happening as the camera was moving then it was probably the stabilization tool I used struggling through my shakiness haha. If the video seemed more still, then it would most likely be the lens haha 🙂
