Cosmopolitan Hotel Review Las Vegas Amber Primdahl

Cosmopolitan Hotel – Las Vegas

This post is long overdue! One month ago (to the day) I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a few days in Las Vegas with one of my best friends. When it came down to choosing where to stay, we wanted something affordable, but without giving up style. That’s when we came across a deal through West Jet for flight and hotel stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The moment we entered the hotel, we both fell in love, it was grand and elegant. What’s better is that for a small fee, we were able to upgrade our room which now included a balcony over The Strip.

When we walked into the room, we were so excited and begun squealing. It was chic, modern, clean, everything we could have asked for!

When I peeked into the bathroom, I was so excited to see the massive tub (which I just had to try out)! The colour of the shower was also beautiful, not to mention the shower itself was huge and beautiful!

And as if the room itself wasn’t enough, check out the view!!

We kept the balcony door open the entire time we were in the room because we ventured onto the balcony frequently. When the Bellagio Fountains go off, it sounds like a firework show, so it took a few times of it going off to realize where the sound was coming from.

There were a few minor cons about our experience, but no deal breakers. One of them being that although we had a fridge, it was pretty useless because it was pretty stocked, and if you pick up anything you are automatically charged. The other thing that I didn’t love was the scent of the hotel. I noticed all of the hotels had their own heavy perfumed scent, and I found it was too much. I don’t know if other people have the same issue or if my nose was just a bit sensitive to it.

I would stay at this hotel again and again on any trip to Las Vegas. Every person we dealt with was so friendly and helpful, and the location is right on The Strip which made it so easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to this beautiful utopia. For your next trip to Vegas, why not head on over to HolidayMe and check out what they have to offer for your hotel booking!

This is a beautiful hotel. I’ve stayed here when I went to Vegas this one time and we loved it. Very modern, very chic and I love the day night club there – Marquee. Great post btw, loved the pictures 🙂

We are planning a trip to Vegas this year and my biggest stress is finding a budget-friendly, but not creepy, place to stay. So glad you posted this! Thanks for sharing!

Omg! The view is spectacular! I can stay on those absolutely royalty looking beds just to peep outside the window all day and night. I am sure you had one hell of an experinces, just gazing.

Wow. The rooms are so nice and what a perfect location! Is that the hotel with the chandelier bar?

What an amazing view! Day or night, what a great spot. I can just imagine having an early cup of tea with that great view. BUT, I’m so glad to know about the smell. I’m quite sensitive to smells and it is interesting that you mention it. Great tip for people like me who get headaches from strong perfumey smells.

This place looks fantastic. I like that it doesn’t look/feel as opulent as so many Las Vegas hotels. I’d be interested in actually staying here with the fam!

I’ve been curious about the Cosmo since seeing their cheeky and stylish commercials. This matches the hype except for the smell. That would be bothersome but perhaps they’re trying to mask the smoke smell from the casino?

I haven’t actually seen their commercials before! I may have to try to search one to see! And yeah, I think it’s intended to cover the smoke smell, I found that a few other hotels had a stronger smell, but luckily it doesn’t spread into the rooms (not that I noticed anyways)!
