I have been a bit M.I.A lately so I thought it was time to give you a college update!
If you’ve been following me for a while now, you may know that I am currently in college for photography and am in my last year.
We are in our final month of this semester and the assignments are really beginning to pile up. This year they have also added a lot of video components to the program which is added stress. But the good news is, I am using my New York footage for an assignment, so that will finally be going up on my YouTube channel very soon!
Currently there are a lot of assignments happening at once and some of them are really pushing me outside of my comfort zone. I believe in going outside of your comfort zone and I think it’s a very important way to grow as a person however, when you have to do it everyday it can be very exhausting mentally. I know you could say the same about traveling, but I enjoy to travel much more than I enjoy being in school, so typically I feel it is easier for me in a travel situation.
I will also be going to the US this week with my program. We are going to Rochester NY to see the Eastman house. This is the home of the man who created Kodak and it has since been turned into a museum. So there is a touch of travel in my life 😉
In a bit less than a month’s time, I will be doing my exams, then I have a month long break! I can’t wait for a bit of a break now, but it’s also really weird to think about how I am almost done. It will surely be bitter sweet. I actually took a break from writing this post just now and booked an appointment for my grad photos. It’s getting real now! 🙂
Anyways, that’s the exciting events in my life right now. I hope you all are enjoying the cool autumn weather.
Keep posted for more blog posts coming up this week!
