Bucket List for London

I have been adding up my bucket list for London for YEARS! In one week I am finally crossing the pond solo to see London from more than an airport window during a layover. I have been planning for this trip for at least two years and I’m so glad I was finally able to make it happen!
I have been scouring through Pinterest for ideas, and I present to you my bucket list for London! My “must see” and “must do’s” for my trip there!

Great list, and as a first timer those are the “must dos”.

I’ve been to London 5 times now, and I challenged myself to get outside of the tourist traps and see “real” London. Once I did that I felt like I really knew what it was like to live in London. And now it stands as one of my favorite cities in the world!

    Cheers,
    Ben

Hi Ben! Thanks so much 🙂
Wow, 5 times? I can’t wait to go for a second time! I’m glad I got more of the tourist things out of the way. Next time I’ll be challenging myself as you did to see the “real” London! I’ll check out your post 🙂

I loved the architecture in Westminster Abbey! Not only were the ceilings high and lofty, they were beautifully structured in these intricately carved…I’m not quite sure how to describe the shape. Think like an upside down waffle cone, only a thousand times prettier! Borough Market is on my bucket list too for my next trip to London. A local friend had recommended it to me, but my schedule hadn’t gone as planned so I’d missed it!

I didn’t end up going inside Westminster on this trip, such a bummer! But it is definitely in my future plans. I got to sit outside and enjoy a nice hot chocolate though which was still a good time! Also, I still want to do Borough Market, I ran out of time this time unfortunately.
